Dr. Michael
Dauderstädt
studied mathematics, economics and development policy in Aachen,
Paris and
Berlin. He worked with the German Foundation for International
development and
since 1980 for the Friedrich Ebert
Foundation (FES) in its research institute in
Lisbon, in the cooperation with Central and Eastern Europe and,
from 2000
through 2006, as head of the International
Policy Analysis Unit. From 2006 to 2013
he has been director
of the Division for
Economic and Social Policy oft the FES. His
research focuses on
international political economy, European integration and
Germany’s economic
policy. He likes to spend his free time with his family and on
some hobbies
such as reading (SF), movies, hiking, white water rafting,
biking and wine.
